3G Wireless Services Update – What you need to know 

Many vehicles that were manufactured prior to 2018, had subscription services that were connected via 3G technology, which was the most up to date at the time the vehicles were manufactured. Since then 4G and now 5G has become the new standard for wireless technology. For that reason, all Lexus 3G connected vehicles will sunset on October 31st, 2022.  This decision was not made by automakers, but rather the telecommunications industry.
